artificial Intelligence (AI) is an often misused and overhyped term. Too often, AI conjures up images such as robots with human-like intelligence in the Terminator movie series. While those movies entertain, they depict a level of robotic intelligence that we may never attain. This paper aims to set the record straight about how Testim is using AI to improve the functionality of test automation.
Let’s define what we mean by AI. There are two broad categories, general AI, which attempts to simulate human intelligence in a variety of situations and specific AI, which focuses the AI on solving particular tasks. Testim uses specific AI, namely, machine learning (ML) to improve the authoring and stability of automated tests.
