Hello, Testing Family! 👋

Thank you for being a part of the testing journey this year. As 2024 wraps, let’s first reflect on the road behind us, which was packed with milestones that have hopefully changed how you think about testing–and made your day-to-day pursuit of quality that much easier. Then, let’s look to the path ahead with some teasers of what’s in store for Tricentis Testim.

Bringing developers and testers closer together

We kicked off the year by bringing developers and QA pros closer together through our new Tricentis for Dev Teams showcase. It was about more than giving dev teams a new way to engage with us—it was about breaking down the boundaries between testing and development with devs and QA pros working side-by-side in the same workflows 🫶🏻
📝 Note to self: If you’d like to stay on top of the latest for all things Testim, Testim Salesforce, Testim Mobile, and Test Management for Jira, make sure to follow us!

Testim Copilot: your trusty AI sidekick

2024 also saw the rise of AI in testing (and pretty much everywhere else). First came Testim Copilot, which made building and maintaining tests a breeze by leaning on AI to do the heavy lifting. This allowed us to create resilient, scalable tests without burning out. It was about more than an easier workload, too—it made testing smarter by helping tests adapt in real-time, spotting issues faster, and reducing those pesky false positives we all love to hate. It became your AI-powered test automation sidekick 🤓, making the whole testing process more efficient and intuitive.

Boosting stability with AI & ML

By mid-year, Testim saw even more improvements in stability and testing power, thanks to AI and machine learning. This enabled your team to scale in new ways, whether working on large enterprise projects or smaller apps, and it made it easier to trust your test results—especially when your team’s under a deadline💥

Testim Mobile, upgraded

We couldn’t talk about 2024 without acknowledging the rich history of mobile testing📱–and our team’s efforts to make their mark on it! They’ve been hard at work on making Testim Mobile better than ever with a November release that welcomed faster test authoring, deeper insights to reduce test maintenance, and new support for native apps, hybrid apps, and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native 🤯

Salesforce test automation: low-code for the win

Another standout this year was the introduction of low-code test automation for Salesforce. Salesforce is ubiquitous, but it can be tough to test. That’s why Testim Salesforce is a big deal—it made testing Salesforce accessible for both technical and non-technical teams, offering powerful, quick and reliable automation without complex scripts. It’s Salesforce testing that just works ☁️

“Quality is Everything” World Tour

We also traveled the globe with Tricentis World Tour and, wow, what an experience it was 🌍 The theme, Quality is Everything, resonated with all of us as we talked about how AI-powered test automation and management are changing the way we work. Whether it’s Testim, Testim Salesforce, Testim Mobile, Test Management for Jira, or other tools in the Tricentis portfolio, we empower you to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. It’s all about getting your products to market faster while still delivering top-notch quality 🚀

So what’s next for 2025?

Looking ahead to 2025, it’s clear AI will continue to be a driving force in test automation. We’ve only scratched the surface of what AI can do, and you can expect even smarter, faster solutions next year, as our teams continue to build and evolve–but the goal remains the same: making quality easier for your team, so they can get back to building.

Mobile adoption will continue to grow and tools like Testim Mobile will be crucial to ensuring your users have a superb experience. Your mobile users deserve the same attention as web and tablet users—and we’re ready for that challenge 💪🏻 Let’s not forget about the low-code movement, either. With Salesforce and other business-critical apps, low-code automation is here to stay, enabling both hardcore testers and business users to play a part in delivering quality.

And that’s a wrap

To close this amazing year, let’s take a little stroll down memory lane 🛤️ 2024 has been packed with big challenges, new ways of working, and new team members who have joined us on our quality journey. There have been new feature releases, AI-driven advancements, and brand new support for cross-platform frameworks. But perhaps most importantly, we’ve grown together as a community, finding new ways to ensure quality is seared into all we build.

Here are a few moments that made this year so special 📸
